Rangeley to hold logging festival, parade

RANGELEY, Maine — Saturday, July 30 marks the celebration of The 31st Annual Rangeley Logging Festival and Parade will be held from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at 221 Stratton Road. State and Federal dignitaries will be on hand to help honor this area’s long-held tradition of working in the woods.

Spaces are 10×10 plus elbowroom for $20 per space. Limited spaces are available with electricity for $30, reserve early. Setup starts at 8 a.m. There is no rain date for this event. For information, call  864-3640 or email carol@foxrunstudios.com.

Antique tractor trek on tap in Frenchville

FRENCHVILLE, Maine — The Northern Maine Antique Tractor Club “Memorial Antique Tractor Trek” will take place at 9 a.m. Sunday, July 10, at James Pelletier’s farm yard on Route 1 in Frenchville. Registration time will be at 8:30 a.m. All proceeds to be donated to Hospice of Aroostook to benefit patient and family care. A memory board to honor loved ones for $25, may be submitted by July 5 or make a donation to pledge a club member. CPR lunch and learn scheduled in Caribou

CARIBOU, Maine — The Pinetree Chapter of the American rRd Cross and the Caribou Chamber of Commerce will host Hands Only CPR Lunch and Learn from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, July 12, at the Cary Chan Center in Caribou.
