Suspect in NH double killing to face Mass. judge

The Associated Press

QUINCY, Mass. — A man suspected of killing two people in a New Hampshire home will be heading back to New Hampshire.

Robert LaCombe Jr. was arrested Saturday at a hotel in Randolph, Mass., several hours after the bodies of 24-year-old William Hatch and 23-year-old Crystal Farnham were found in a home in Grafton, N.H. The victims had apparently been shot to death.

The 24-year-old LaCombe appeared in Quincy District Court in Massachusetts on Monday on a fugitive charge and agreed not to fight extradition to New Hampshire, where he faces second- degree murder charges.

Authorities say LaCombe had been living at the Grafton home for a few months. Prosecutors haven’t commented on a motive.

Autopsies on the victims were scheduled for Monday.
