P.E.T.S benefit yard sale postponed to July 9 in Dover-Foxcroft
DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — P.E.T.S. (Prevent Euthanasia through Sterilization) has rescheduled its annual benefit yard sale from June 25 to 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at the Dover-Foxcroft Fire Station. The sale had to be postponed because of the Whoopie Pie Festival this weekend. Main Street will be closed to traffic for the event, therefore it would have been impossible for people to get and out of the fire station. P.E.T.S. is still accepting household items and collectibles for the sale. All donations go to help people get their companion animals spayed or neutered.
