Youth theater to stage two shows

These Waldo area children have been rehearsing for two plays they will present June 24-26 at the Waldo Theatre in Waldo.

WALDO, Maine — Waldo Youth Theatre will present “Once Upon a Shoe” and  “All I Really Need to Know I Learned by Being in a Bad Play” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, June 24-25, and 2 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at the Waldo Theatre, 916 Main St. Tickets are $5.

“Once Upon a Shoe” will be performed by Midcoast actors ages 5 to 14, Ivy Laakso, Nadia Smith, Amelia Rosko, Emma Tolley, Sam Hunter, Aaron Smeltzer, Cayleigh Hearth, Kayleigh Tolley, Lindsey Reilly, Katherine Tolley, Coleman Swain, Norbert Ferrero, Michael Yates, Cassie Smeltzer, Wyatt Syles, Quincy Cramer, Ellie Spizzuoco, Nathaniel Carson, Edwin Stone and Zeke Reilly.

“All I Really Need to Know I Learned by Being in a Bad Play” performers, ages 12 to16, are Sam Inman, Aaron Smeltzer, Christina McClure, Braeden Waddell, Tristan Korpinen, Sofie Sawyer-Johnson, Cayleigh Hearth, Ellie Spizzuoco, Jeannie Trueman, Nadia Smith, Chloe Isis-Bahoosh, Luke Levesque and Alex Ray-Weber.
