Health center to hold will preparation workshop

BANGOR, Maine — The Mabel Wadsworth Women’s Health Center will offer workshop in will preparation at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at 700 Mount Hope Ave. suite 420 in Bangor. The workshop will include preparing your will and getting it notarized in one evening session. The cost is $50 and all proceeds benefit the health center. Bangor Public Library music series kicks off with the Bangor Band

BANGOR, Maine — The Bangor Public Library’s Summer Music Series begins with a presentation by the Bangor Band at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, in Pierce Park. As part of the commemoration of the Great Bangor Fire of1911, the band will play “Midnight Fire Alarm March” with special collections Librarian Bill Cook playing the “fire bell” and introducing the piece. Hermon Farmers Market opening

HERMON, Maine — The Hermon Farmers Market opens from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 16, in the parking lot of Greencare Plantscapes, 1779 Hammond St. in Hermon. The market will take place every Thursday through Sept. 29. This year the market will be accepting food stamp benefits and credit and debit cards for customers convenience.
