First cruise ship docking of season in Rockland

The American Cruise Line ship The Independence docked in Rockland on Wednesday and will stay until Thursday morning. The ship is currently carrying about 80 passengers. Its next stop is Boothbay. This was the first cruise ship docking of the season for Rockland. The small city expects about 30 more visits by The Independence and three other cruise ships from now through autumn.
