KeyBankMaine and Women, Work, & Community have partnered in Credit Yourself, a four-module training for those who want to learn good use of credit and set financial goals. KeyBank has provided the funding; WWC does the training. Participants who complete the modules and write a financial plan are eligible to apply for a $250 award to assist with their goals. Credit Yourself has been offered for two years, but this is the first year it has been offered statewide, and there were 10 winners. Bangor area recipient Kelly Hoovler (right) said she was pleased to “take a step toward making sure I learn to manage funds better and feel confident about the financial choices I have made.” Presenting the check is Danielle Burke, branch manager and assistant vice president, KeyBank at Key Plaza, Bangor.
