Marketing a business online seminar in Bangor


BANGOR, Maine — Top 10 Ways to Market Your Business Online, a free seminar, will be conducted 3-5 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, in the Lancaster Room at Hollywood Slots, Main Street.

Experienced speaker and social media strategist Shannon Kinney of Dream Local, a digital services agency based in Thomaston, will conduct the seminar. She has held seminars throughout North America about online marketing and her agency helps more than 100 Maine businesses with strategy and execution. Social media marketing services available through Dream Local will be part of the session.

Apparel shop

ROCKLAND — A new apparel shop from the U.S. Virgin Islands is about to open this summer on the north side of Rockland’s Main Street. On Friday, June 10, Cutwater Outfitters, a retail store that carries surf and outdoor sports equipment for men, women and children, hold a grand opening and a paddle board giveaway drawing worth $850 at 5 p.m. Friday, June 10. The drawing will take place Tuesday, June 21.

Healing arts center

ROCKLAND — A new Healing Arts Center opened June 1 in the Thorndike building, 385 Main St. SoulMoves, the studio and private practice of Anna Abaldo, will offer a number of healing modalities which are relatively new to the midcoast, yet have gained widespread recognition in other parts of the United States and Europe.

SoulMoves will open its doors to the public 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, and 1-5 p.m. Friday, June 17. Abaldo will offer information on programs and private consultations.

A free lunch and demonstration of Family Constellations will be held for area practitioners noon-1 p.m. Friday, June 17, and noon-1 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at High Mountain Hall, for practitioners in the Camden area.
