BANGOR — The Peony Society of Maine will offer a garden tour 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at 23 Ohio St. Directions will be given out to other gardens for the tour. Stephanie Burnett, assistant professor of horticulture, University of Maine, will speak at 1 p.m. After the program there will be a drawing for a free peony. Admission $2. BELFAST — The sixth annual Belfast Garden Club Open Garden Days features 13 gardens in Belfast, Belmont, Searsport, Searsmont, Bayside and Northport. One garden per week will be open to the public 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Fridays, through Aug. 26. Tickets can be purchased at each garden on the day of the tour for a donation of $4 for one garden or $15 for a five-visit ticket. CAMDEN — 64th annual House and Garden Tour, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, July 21, rain or shine. Advance tickets on sale July 1-20 for $25 at Moose Crossing Garden Center (Waldoboro), Plants Unlimited (Rockport), Hoboken Gardens (Rockport), Surroundings (Camden), Whitehall Inn (Camden), Brambles (Belfast) and Northern Kingdom Music (Camden). ELLSWORTH — Woodlawn Museum, in partnership with the University of Maine Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program, will hold a seeds and seedlings swap 11 a.m.-noon Saturday, June 18, at the museum, Route 172. HAMPDEN — Works by 10 local artists on display and for sale 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 24, and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at Historic Harmony Hall, 24 Kennebec Road.  A reception to meet the artists will be held Friday. STILLWATER — This year’s second “Public Nights at the Garden,” a panel of specialists in ornamental plants, pests and plant diseases from the University of Maine available for gardening questions, 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, at Rogers Farm Demonstration Garden, 914 Bennoch Road. Visitors are encouraged to come eary to tour the gardens. There will be time available to ask gardening questions. Bring plants or insect samples for identification.
