NEWCASTLE — Brandon Reilly pitched a complete game, allowing one run on three hits with 10 strikeouts to lead the Lincoln Academy Eagles to a pointworthy 3-1 victory over the Rockland Tigers in high school baseball action Tuesday.

Reilly helped his own cause with a home run and a single for the Eagles.

Luke Morrill hit a home run in the sixth inning for the Tigers.

At Waldoboro, Alex Greenrose hit a two-run home run to highlight a five-run fifth inning as Medomak Valley topped Belfast.

Chris Benedict hit three singles for the Panthers. Isaac Durkee chipped in with two singles and a double.

Lew Dyer singled twice for the Lions.

At Howland, Phil Benoit pitched a four-hit shutout with 12 strikeouts to propel Orono by Penobscot Valley.

Cam Mowrer doubled, singled and drove in a run for the 7-8-1 Red Riots. Nate Paul added a double and two RBIs.

Brody Libby hit two singles for the 13-3 Howlers.

At Eastport, Tom Stanhope hit two doubles and drove in two runs as Shead defeated Machias.

Ethan Stevens doubled and singled with two RBIs for the 8-7-1 Tigers. Tim Demolet singled twice with three RBIs while Joseph Barnes added two singles and two RBIs.

Sam Whitney tripled and singled for the 6-7 Bulldogs. Brian Getchell doubled and singled with an RBI while Jacob Scoville added an RBI single.

At Old Town, Andrew Richardson doubled, singled and knocked in two runs to lead Old Town by Bucksport.

Cody Cross and Lucas Baillargeon hit two singles apiece for the 11-5 Coyotes. Casey Estes doubled while Cameron Archer added an RBI single.

Mike Cummings led the 10-6 Golden Bucks with an RBI double and an RBI single. Shawn Smith singled twice while Ryan Bailey and James Potter each doubled.

At Lincoln, Will Perkins had two doubles to drive in two runs as Hermon improved to 11-5.

Cody Veilleux singled and doubled for the Hawks. Kevin Frederick had two singles with an RBI and Tyler Fournier two singles (RBI).

Trysten Pelkey singled twice and scored for the 1-14 Lynx.

At Lewiston, Corbin Hyde allowed just one hit through the first six innings for Lewiston en route to victory over Brewer.

Scott Ouellette sparked a three-run third inning with a double for the 15-1 Blue Devils. Shawn Ricker, Jeff Keene and Joe Sullivan each drove in a run.

Kyle McLain hit an RBI double in the fourth inning for the 8-8 Witches.

CAHS 18, Ashland 6

At At Mars Hill, Steven Decker hit a grand slam, a solo home run and a double as Central Aroostook cruised past Ashland.

Brandon York posted two singles, a double and two RBIs for the 13-2 Panthers. Logan McLaughlin added a double, a single and 2 RBIs while Dan Brewer hit a two-run home run.

Royce MacDonald and Brandon Carney each doubled for the 0-14 Hornets.

Brandon Hartt and Brody Lizotte each hit two singles and a double for the 4-10 Warriors. Charlie Nadeau chipped in with two singles.

At Old Town, Mindy Pye belted a grand slam in a six-run second inning that enabled Bucksport to avenge a 2-1 setback last Friday.

Abby Yeo scattered five hits with two strikeouts and three walks over five innings.

Pye also had a single and finished with five RBIs.

Sadie Wight doubled and singled and knocked in three runs for the 14-2 winners. Andie Lawford and Shelby Redman had two singles each and combined for three RBIs.

Kendra Hayward had a two-run double for the 11-5 Coyotes with Megan Cousins, Emily Trembley, Susie Outman and Kelsey Hesseltine each singling.

Heather Michaud singled for the 3-13 Blue Devils.

Tayla Trask pitched a complete game for the 11-4 Lynx, striking out 19 to notch the 700th strikeout of her career. Taylor Hawkins doubled and singled with an RBI. Morgan Russell hit a solo home run while Rianne Gardner added two singles.

At Washburn, Jayne Cousins and Kim Armstrong each had a pair of singles and two RBIs and Kaitlyn Beaudoin spaced 11 hits while pitching a complete game as East Grand of Danforth improved to 7-5.

Armstrong singled in a three-run fifth inning that wiped out an 11-10 deficit after Washburn had scored 11 unanswered runs.

Makayla Ronco had a double, two singles and five RBIs for 2-13 Washburn and Carmen Bragg doubled and singled and knocked in a run.

Crysta Bourque’s two singles and Becca Lee’s base hit paced 0-13 Machias.

Jill Tuell led the 11-5 Red Riots with a double, single and two RBIs while Caleigh Paul doubled and singled to knock in a run.
