ROCKLAND – Our sweet little "tadpole," Ayden Conner Knight was born 3:45 a.m. March 20, 2011. On Sunday, May 29, 2011, he returned to God who allowed us to love him for the two months and one week that he was with us.
Ayden will be greatly missed by his loving parents, Carl H. and Amanda C. Knight; and his favorite big brother, 1-year-old Ashur W Knight. This precious baby will also be missed by his maternal grandparents, the Rev. David and Becki DeVall of Rockland; paternal grandparents, Kim Knight, and Carl F. and Christine Knight, all of Rockland; uncle, Jonathan DeVall of St. Paul, Minn.; aunt, Brittnee Knight; and aunt, Courtney Knight, both of Rockland. His extended family includes great-grandparents, great-great-grandparents, great-aunts and great-uncles, and many cousins. In Ayden’s short life, he touched the lives of everyone who met him and loved him. He brought so much joy and laughter, and put smiles on the faces of everyone who came in contact with him. Ayden Conner will forever be remembered and loved and carried in our hearts.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, at Cornerstone Ministries, 37 Water St., Rockland, officiated by his grandfather, the Rev. David DeVall; and his great-grandfather, the Rev. Doug Chesson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ayden Conner Knight Memorial Fund, via 37 Water St., Rockland, ME 04841, to cover medical expenses.
