YORK, Maine — A local boy was arrested Friday after allegedly stealing two park benches and eight traffic cones, police say.

The unidentified 16-year-old has been charged with criminal trespass and possession of stolen property after police said they found the items on the roof of a shopping center, WCSH6 reports. Police say the benches were from the York Library and the Village Scoop, and that five of the traffic cones were from Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home.
