ROCKPORT — “Enhancing the Immune System and Calming the Nervous System Using Asian Medicine” will be held 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 9, at the Picker Family Resource Center. Join Rhonda Feiman, a licensed acupuncturist, for an experiential evening exploring how to maintain health and well-being through Japanese acupuncture and Chinese herbology. Participants will experience gentle Qi-Gong movements that have been used for generations. Qi-Gong uses breath, posture, movement and meditation to cleanse, gather and circulate healing energy. These are simple techniques that participants can take home and begin using immediately, regardless of physical ability. The Picker Center is located between Women’s Health OB-GYN and Urology on the Pen Bay Medical Center campus. Call 596-8950 for more information and directions if needed.
