Mary Sargent of Lincolnville has been named administrator of the Anderson Inn at Quarry Hill Retirement Community in Camden.

She will be responsible for ensuring that Quarry Hill meets state and federal standards for nursing care, rehabilitation and other services. Sargent joined Quarry Hill in April 2010 as administrator-in-training.

For 11 years, she served first as recruitment specialist and then as director of employee relations and recruitment in the Human Resources Department at Pen Bay Healthcare, Quarry Hill’s parent company.


Portland pet pharmaceutical company Putney Inc has promoted Dr. Anthony Lucas to vice president of product development.

Lucas will be accountable for delivery of Putney’s pipeline, scientific strategy, and project management involving clinical research organization and development partners.


Kathleen “Kosia” Konkoly of Scarborough has joined the law firm of Jensen Baird Gardner & Henry, with offices in Portland and Kennebunk.

Prior to joining the firm, Kosia practiced with Smith, Elliott, Smith & Garmey, P.A. in Saco.


Whitney Moreau has joined Nancy Marshall Communications as account coordinator.

She will be responsible for the administration of integrated strategic marketing communications campaigns for clients, including strategic planning, press release distribution and the execution of social media strategies.

Moreau of Oakland received her bachelor of science in marketing management and master of business administration from Thomas College in Waterville. Before joining NMC, Moreau was the marketing manager at Brady Palmer Real Estate and also worked previously at Kennebec Savings Bank in the marketing department.


Former Maine Gov. Angus King and business executives Bruce Wagner and Carolyn Chin have joined Portland-based Woodard & Curran’s board of directors.

King was governor from 1995 to 2003, has 30 years of experience as an attorney and 20 years’ experience in energy conservation and alternative energy.

Wagner is President of Traverse CEO, providing executive management support to firms. He spent most of his career in executive management at WR Grace.

Chin is CEO of CeBiz, a consulting and investment firm. She has held executive positions with IBM, Reuters, Citibank and AT&T.
