Baked bean supper June 4 at East Orrington Congregational Church

ORRINGTON, Maine – A baked bean supper will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at the East Orrington Congregational Church. The menu includes beans, hot dogs and pies. The price is $7 for adults and $3 for children.

RSU 26 schools plan prekindergarten

ORONO – RSU 26 (Glenburn, Orono, Veazie) schools will offer a half day prekindergarten for children who must be 4 years old on or before Oct. 15. Children will attend either a morning or afternoon session lasting 2 1/2 hours with a limit of 10 students in each session. Pre-K program applications will be available Monday, June 6, and must be returned by Thursday, June 30. Applications will be available at the school offices and by calling your school office.

Parkman Grange plans special program

PARKMAN – The Parkman Grange meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, at Parkman Grange Hall, at Four Corners. A special program will be provided by members of Valley Grange. Refreshments will be served after the meeting. For more information, call Liz at 277-3831.

Real estate, development group plans networking social

BANGOR – Maine Real Estate & Development Association hosts its first-ever Bangor-area networking social from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, at WBRC Architects Engineers, 44 Central St. in Bangor.

Join us for hors d’oeuvres, spirits, and great conversation with colleagues, friends and other industry professionals. Limited tickets are available first-come, first served. An RSVP is requested on or before June 16. Price for the event is $25 for MEREDA member and $35 for nonmembers.
