GREENVILLE — Kyle Webb, principal of Greenville High School, has announced the honor parts for the Class of 2011.

Amanda Sarol, daughter of Lisa Fay Canterbury of Virginia and Brian John Sarol of Greenville, has been named valedictorian. She plans to attend the University of Maine to study music.

She is a member of the National Honor Society and Key Club. She has participated in cheerleading, has been a four-year member of the chorus, played a lead role in the past two musicals, and performed in every school talent show.

Gretel Breton, daughter of Paul and Melanie Breton of Greenville, has been named salutatorian. She will attend the University of Maine to study chemical engineering and play for the Division 1 women’s soccer team this fall.

Breton is a National Honor Society and Key Club member and is vice president of her class and student council. She participated in soccer, cross-country, basketball, ski team and track and field, earning 19 varsity letters and making appearances at state competitions in all five sports.  She has been a four-year member of the pep and concert bands, chorus and musical theater, and recently received the 2011 MPA Principal’s Award.
