UMFK to offer degree in emergency management

FORT KENT, Maine — The University of Maine at Fort Kent is the only college or university in Maine that will offer a degree program in Emergency Management-Homeland Security. The associate degree program is offered completely online, on-campus or as a blended program, combining online and on-campus classes. Graduates also may roll over their entire associate degree in the university’s Rural Public Safety Administration baccalaureate program.

The Emergency Management-Homeland Security degree programs provide a liberal arts-public management program for students interested in a career in public service, public safety administration, law enforcement either as a first responder or as a supporter-resource professional.
