Madawaska’s Hebert featured on ‘The Bachelorette’ Monday night

PORTLAND, Maine — Maine’s Ashley Hebert can’t tell a soul whether or not she found true love on “The Bachelorette,” ABC’s reality-romance show that kicks off Monday night.

Hebert was one of the three finalists on “The Bachelor.” This time, she’s in the driver’s seat, meeting and dating 25 male contestants to see if one of them might be Mr. Right.

The Madawaska native took time off from dental school to pursue the reality TV show gigs. But she insisted in an interview with the Portland Press Herald that she intends to become a dentist, not an entertainer.

On the debut episode Monday, Hebert will meet her 25 suitors. They include a lawyer, butcher, restaurant owner, construction company CEO and personal trainer. The show starts at 9 p.m.
