DAMARISCOTTA — Sea Glass as Wearable Art by Lynne Thompson at 1 p.m. Friday, May 20, at Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center. Use the materials that Lynne will provide or make the gift a bit more special by using pieces of sea glass that you have collected. If you have a pair of needle-nosed pliers bring them with you. WATERVILLE — The Colby College Museum of Art will offer a free copy of its 50th anniversary catalogue, “Art at Colby, Celebrating the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Colby College Museum of Art,” to the first 50 visitors as part of the Association of Art Museum Directors’ (AAMD) Art Museum Day on May 18. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and admission is free. A comprehensive list of participating AAMD member art museums will be available online at www.aamd.org/newsroom.
