Lodging availability calendar

Almost every day — and many times daily June through October — the Camden-Rockport-Lincolnville Chamber of Commerce Visitor’s Center fields scores of lodging requests. Just in time for peak season, Chamber members in the lodging industry can make sure Chamber staff and volunteers know the current status of their property’s availability thanks to the new free online Availability Calendar.

The voluntary (and free) Availability Calendar at http://www.visitcamden.com shows when a member has rooms available and when they are fully booked. Each property’s calendar appears within a member’s listing, and a composite calendar of participating members has its own page under Where to Stay and is easily accessible from the Chamber home page. This master list also can be focused by lodging type for easier use. The calendar is very easy to update.

In addition, online visitors can view member availability three months ahead.

Using the information updated by members at their own convenience, the CRL Chamber can provide better, quicker service to visitors and to member businesses.

If you are a Chamber member in the lodging industry and already have a user account on

http://www.visitcamden.com, you’ll be able to show or hide your availability calendar. To create a new user account, or if you have further questions, contact Chamber publications and Web manager Kathie Kull at 236-4404 or kkull@camdenme.org.
