Gardiner man gets 15 days for stealing from 22 cars

AUGUSTA, Maine — A Gardiner man has been sentenced to 15 days in jail for stealing from 22 vehicles near the beginning of the year.

Christopher D. Robbins, 26, pleaded guilty in Augusta District Court to taking items from the unlocked cars between Christmas Eve and Jan. 4, according to the Kennebec Journal. His 15-day sentence is in addition to $382 in restitution.
