1)What is your motivation to “Move and Improve?”

I have several motivators. I am trying to stay at a healthy weight and fitness level. I have decided to run a half-marathon, so I am training for that this spring. I also want to set a good example for my daughter Lily and son Hoyt. They come to races and one or both is always in a stroller, usually followed by a trip to a playground after.

2)What is your biggest obstacle to “Move and Improve?”

My biggest obstacle is finding time to exercise. Working and chores at home make things tricky, and planning ahead is key. Having amazing support helps with the stroller-less runs too

3. What kind of activities do you engage in to reach your goal?

I play basketball one night a week, walk during my lunch break, and run as often as I can. I am involved with a group of ladies (Go Divas!) that run and race together, and we’re always looking for other active things to do too. And chasing my kids. I do a lot of that.
