Outlook: The Black Bears will help usher in a new era at the refurbished former home of the Triple A Maine Guides with a nonleague contest against the Rams. Maine looks to bounce back after Monday’s 7-6, 12-inning America East loss to Albany. Lewis logged three hits in that game and appears ready to get back on track. Rhode Island has been playing well. The Rams, who are 9-6 in the Atlantic 10, are batting .287 as a team and average 6.2 runs per game. URI also has pitched superbly, posting a 3.85 team ERA with 270 strikeouts and 119 walks in 348 innings. The Ballpark will be home this summer to a fledgling New England Collegiate Baseball League team, the OOB Raging Tide.
