BREWER — Clifton Historical Society food sale, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, May 6, at Marden’s on Wilson Street.

CASTINE — A state-certified training session for area businesses that sell and serve alcohol will be offered by Healthy Peninsula of Blue Hill and Bucksport Bay Healthy Communities on Wednesday, May 11, at Maine Maritime Academy. Cost is $30 and both trainings include the state certification fee. Participants must register before the training. GOULDSBORO — Bartlett Maine Estate Winery will open its tasting room for the 2011 season at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 7. The tasting room is open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays, June 7 through Columbus Day.

MILLINOCKET — Turkey supper to benefit Andrea Robinson, daughter of Eldon and Donna Moody, 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, at the Knights of Columbus Parish Hall. Robinson is undergoing chemotherapy. Donations will help defray the cost of travel, housing and meals. Those who would like to help but are unable to attend the supper may send donations to Knights of Columbus, 27 Highland Ave., Millinocket 04462. Please mark checks as a donation for Andrea Robinson.
