DOVER-FOXCROFT — Poet Tom Lyford will hold a poetry open mike night in recognition of National Poetry Month, 7-8:30 p.m. Monday, April 25, Thompson Free Library in Dover-Foxcroft. Admission and food free.

ELLSWORTH — The Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library’s Spring Cleaning Book Sale, 4-7 p.m. Thursday, April 28; 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday April 29; and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, library’s Riverview Room, 20 State St. Funds raised support multiple library programs which are available to everyone free of charge.
