Police identify suspect in Westbrook fatal stabbing

WESTBROOK, Maine — Police have identified a Worcester, Mass., man as a suspect in a fatal stabbing in Westbrook after finding his cell phone at the crime scene.

The Portland Press Herald reports that police identified 30-year-old Tareek Hendricks from photographs found on a cell phone left at the home of Robert and Melissa Stubbs.

Robert Stubbs, who was 40, died of multiple stab wounds Thursday night. Twenty-seven-year-old Melissa Stubbs also was stabbed and is recovering.
