CAMDEN — Tickets are on sale for Camden’s second annual Cake Walk 1-4 p.m. Saturday, May 7, rain or shine. Cake Walk is a collaboration of Camden-Rockport Historical Society and 10 historic Camden inns. Ticket numbers are limited. Participating inns are Abigail’s, The Lord Camden Inn, The Hartstone, Blue Harbor House, The Blackberry Inn, The Belmont Inn, Capt. Swift House, The Grand Harbor Inn, The Hawthorn Inn, and Maine Stay Inn. Tickets, $20 for adults and $10 children under 12, available at Market Basket, HAVII, Camden-Rockport-Lincolnville Chamber office and Dot’s restaurant in Lincolnville.

DAMARISCOTTA — Lip balm-making workshop, 3 p.m. Friday, April 29, Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center, 521 Main St., with Joyce and Laurel Hill, proprietors of Seaside Soap and Candle.To register, call 563-1363 by April 28. Materials fee $5. Class fee $5.

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Piscataquis Regional YMCA will hold a meeting 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at the YMCA, for anyone interested in participating in the market.Topics will include proposed days and times for the market and rules for participation. ORONO — Sorority Gamma Sigma Sigma will be host to Alex’s Lemonade Stand to raise money toward fighting the battle against childhood cancer, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday and Friday, April 21 and 22, 168 College Ave., outside Memorial Union, across from Fogler Library.

ROCKLAND — A social mixer and fundraising event to benefit area food pantries, 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 22, at BarterWorX, a barter company,16 School St. Instead of a fee to attend, donations of nonperishable foods and other items will be collected. Much needed are nonfood items such as shampoos, detergents, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Cash donations are welcome.
