Mike Eaton (University of Southern Maine senior from sabattus), baseball, was 11-for-21 with eight runs, two doubles, four home runs and 11 RBIs.

Samantha Kiesel (University of Southern Maine sophomore), women’s lacrosse goalie, earned two wins with a 8.50 goals against average and making 31 saves for a .646 save percentage.

Hillary Hall (University of Southenr Maine senior from Waldoboro), women’s outdoor field, set school record in the high jump at the Colby Invitational with a jump of 5 feet, 4.25 inches to finish second.

Morgan Beede (University of Southern Maine freshman from Augusta), women’s outdoor track rookie, won the 5,000 meters with a time of 18 minutes, 50.52 seconds.

NESCAC

Melissa DellaTorre (Bowdoin College first year from Scarborough), softball pitcher, earned three wins and a save in five appearances, she had a 1.83 ERA in 23 innings with 21 hits, four walks and 28 strikeouts.

Chris Murtagh (Bates College senior), men’s outdoor field, won the hammer throw at the Colby Invitational with a toss of 59.84 meters and placed second in the discus (49.02 meters).

Jacob Chamblee (Thomas College sophomore from South Berwick), baseball pitcher, went 1-1 during the week, allowing two earned runs and seven strikeouts in 13 innings of work.

Ian McAlister (University of Maine at Farmington freshman from South Berwick), baseball rookie, went 7-for-13 in four games with three runs, seven hits and two steals and also pitched a three-hitter with five strikeouts in a 6-2 win over UM-Presque Isle.
