Free five-week workshop at UMFK on personal finances

Maine Short Film Concert scheduled at Fryeburg Academy

FRYEBURG, Maine — The Maine Short Film Concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at the Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center on the campus of Fryeburg Academy. Oscar nominees, Best of U.S. Film Festivals and International “Best of Show” winners will be presented in a two-hour compilation of major award-winning short films from past and present.

Brunswick church invites all to hear Bach’s ‘St. Matthew Passion’

BRUNSWICK, Maine — The First Parish Church United Church of Christ invites the public to a free performance as part of the church’s Holy Week celebrations at 3 p.m. Friday, April 22, at the church in Brunswick.
