Bangor Toastmasters to mark 60th year

BANGOR — The Bangor Toastmasters will celebrate its 60th anniversary at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, at Howard Johnson, 336 Odlin Road in Bangor. Light fare will be served. Dress is business casual. Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of meeting locations. UMaine undergrads to present research

ORONO — The University of Maine undergraduate students will present 50 research projects from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, at the Wells Conference Center for the second annual Undergraduate Research & Academic Showcase.
