Milford bean supper to benefit animal orphanage


MILFORD — A baked bean supper to benefit the Old Town-Orono Animal Orphanage will be held 4:30-6 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at the Milford Congregational Church. The price is $5 for adults and $2 for children under 12. All proceeds will benefit stray animals at the Animal Orphanage. For more information, call 299-7324.

Physical therapy provider to offer free screenings at open house

John Bapst annual auction to be held April 9

BANGOR — John Bapst Memorial High School will hold its ninth annual auction at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 9, in John Bapst auditorium at 100 Broadway in Bangor. Tickets are $15 per person, $25 for couples and $125 for a table of eight. The event will include a silent and live auction, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, cash bar and raffle tickets. Bangor post office to celebrate Passport Day

BANGOR — The United States Postal Service will join the Department of State in celebrating Passport Day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 9, at 73 Hammond St. in Bangor.
