Bradley man indicted on sex charges

BANGOR, Maine — A Bradley man was indicted Wednesday by the Penobscot County grand jury on sex charges.

Timothy Damien, 43, was indicted on five counts of unlawful sexual contact and three counts of unlawful sexual touching.

An arraignment date has not been set, but because Damien is deaf, an interpreter will be needed, according to the Penobscot County District Attorney’s Office.

Damien allegedly had sexual contact with a female relative between the age of 12 and 14 from December 2008 through April 2009.

If convicted, he faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $20,000 on the most serious count of unlawful sexual contact.

Also indicted Wednesday were:

Jordan Anderson, 23, Patten, two counts of burglary, two counts of theft by unauthorized taking, criminal mischief, failure to stop for an officer, driving to endanger.

Amanda Balsdon, 35, Bangor, theft by unauthorized taking.

Rodney Barnett, 34, Milo, four counts of operating after revocation, two counts of violation of condition of release.

Dalton Braley, 19, Bangor, two counts of burglary, two counts of theft by unauthorized taking.

Richard S. Bryant, 53, Charleston, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, criminal operating under the influence of intoxicants.

David Carr, 19, Bangor, burglary, forgery, two counts of theft by unauthorized taking, theft of services, receiving stolen property.

Harold Carter, 30, Bangor, assault on an officer, criminal mischief, assault.

Joseph B. Collins, 27, Dexter, reckless conduct, driving to endanger.

Sheila Correia, 47, Bangor, failure to report.

Randall Cressey, 21, Great Pond, two counts of burglary, three counts of theft by unauthorized taking, two counts of failure to appear.
