HARMONY – Charlie G. Bussell II, 38, was called home to be with the Lord in Peace Saturday, March 26, 2011. Charlie was born Aug. 10, 1972, a son of Lyndon and Maureen (Grenier) Bussell.

Chuck was a loyal and devoted father, son, brother, family man and a true friend to the end. He was a woodsman by trade. He believed in doing an honest day’s work for an honest day’s pay and he took pride in doing so. He enjoyed the outdoors – hunting ducks and geese with his dogs, turkeys with his nephew, Briar, and deer with family and friends. He also enjoyed dipping smelts, arm wrestling, grappling, shooting, and good music. Chuck took pride in his family and close friends. He would help anyone he could and say thank you to anyone who gave him a "leg up" when he needed one.

He is survived by his father of Harmony; grandmother, Leah Bussell of Wellington; two children: "his boy," Andrew and wife, Brittany Paradis, of Wellington and a stepdaughter, Michelle and husband, Tim Coghlan, of Lynn, Mass.; five siblings: a sister, Stacy and husband, Mitchell Bedi, of Newport and four brothers, Kendall and wife, Tammy Judd, Cory and wife, Jean Bussell, all of Athens, Eric and wife, Tammy Bussell, of Mercer and Robert and wife, Mary Bussell, of Harmony; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He also leaves behind his dog, Bosco. Chuck was predeceased by his mother, Feb. 5, 2005. He will be missed, but memories of him live in all who knew and loved him. "Never forgotten."

Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 1, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main St., Newport. A spring graveside funeral and committal service will be held at a time and location to be announced. Those who wish may leave written condolences at
