BANGOR — An error with two outs and the bases loaded in the top of the 10th inning led to two runs as Bates College of Lewiston narrowly beat Husson University 7-5 in a college baseball game at Winkin Complex Monday.
Gordy Webb hit two doubles and drove in two runs to power the Bobcats. Griff Tewksbury hit an RBI ground-rule double in the seventh. Pat Murphy hit two singles and Noah Lynd scored two runs.
Tom Crews belted a two-run home run in the fourth and added a single for Husson. Chris Maguire doubled twice, and Shawn Smith had three singles and an RBI. Jake Arthers had a double, single and an RBI and Ethan Guerette scored two runs.
