Bangor Bass Club raises $1,250 for Camp CaPella

DEDHAM, Maine — Camp CaPella on Thursday received a check from the Bangor Bass Club for $1,250 to sponsor a full “campership” to send a child with developmental or physical disabilities to the camp this summer.

To raise the money, the club raffled $150 gift cards at the Eastern Maine Sportsmen’s Show held at the University of Maine in Orono earlier this month and at the Bangor Boat Show last weekend.

“It’s great to see the Bangor Bass Club taking the lead to kick off our annual appeal to sponsor kids to camp,” said Dana Mosher, executive director of Camp CaPella.

Located on Phillips Lake in Dedham, Camp CaPella provides quality-of-life experiences for people with disabilities and their families.
