SEDGWICK and DEER ISLE – Daniel Paul Parker, 27, died March 22, 2011, as a result of an automobile accident. He was born Oct. 22, 1983, in Blue Hill, the son of Ernest and Patricia (Klemenz) Parker.

He enjoyed lobster fishing, talking to people, baseball cards, old music, making people laugh, and especially spending time with family and friends. His favorite saying was "Friends welcome, relatives by appointment." He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.

He is survived by his wife of nine years, Kasie Parker of Sedgwick; lights of his life – his two children, Kameryn Rose Parker and Brandan Tyler Parker; his parents, Ernie and Missey Parker of Bangor and Patty and Bill Klemenz-Leach of Deer Isle; seven brothers and sisters, James, Denise, Beth, Tim, Mary, Max and Joanne; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; and by his maternal grandparents, Harry and Norma Vickerson of Deer Isle. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Sherman and Callie Parker; uncle, Adam Vickerson; grandfather, James Klemenz; and a niece, Alivia Grace Parker.

Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 25, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, 9 Thurlows Hill Road, Stonington. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at Deer Isle Stonington High School, North Deer Isle Road, Deer Isle.
