MONSON, Maine — Residents approved all funding articles Monday at the annual town meeting, adopting a $667,253 budget.

Town Manager Julie Anderson said Tuesday that questions were raised about roads and the highway department. Some residents suggested that the town do more of its own road work this year rather than hiring out for the projects, but no action was taken on the idea.

About 40 residents approved spending $4,400 for maintenance at the Community Center located in the former elementary school.

Mark Lewis was re-elected as selectman.
