AUGUSTA —­ The Bicycle Coalition of Maine’s Great Orono Bike Swap 10 a.m.-2 p.m. May 1, University of Maine’s Student Recreation and Fitness Center. Buy or sell bicycles. Admission $3, free for students of UMaine, University of Southern Maine, the University of New England and Southern Maine Community College, and children 12 or younger. BANGOR — The Rotary Club of Bangor’s sixth annual Music Off Broadway production at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 26, and 3 p.m. Sunday, March 27, at Bangor High School’s Peakes Auditorium. Theme is America’s Bandstand. Adults $18, seniors $15, youths $10; from club members, BookMarc’s, Mr. Paperback at Airport Mall, Patrick’s Hallmark at Broadway Shopping Center and before each performance at the door. DAMARISCOTTA — The Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta needs Maine artists to submit potential designs for the events 2011 official festival T-shirt. ORRINGTON — The 15th annual Maple Festival and Irish Celebration, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at Curran Living History Farm and Museum, 372 Fields Pond Road. Henry Wiswell of Wiswell Farm and president of Orrington Historical Society to talk about his experiences with making maple syrup. Try Cathy Martinage’s Irish (lamb) stew and her Irish soda bread. Singalong with the Irish folk music of Jerry Hughes. Visit Karla Brown and some of her newborn lambs and goats in the barn. Tour the newly constructed blacksmith shop. ROCKLAND — Friends of Rockland Public Library and comedian and author Paula Poundstone to raise funds for Rockland Public Library 8 p.m. Friday, March 25, at Strand Theater, 345 Main St. A percentage of proceeds from the sale of Poundstone’s book “There’s Nothing in This Book That I Meant to Say” will benefit the Friends of Rockland Public Library.
