Outlook: The Black Bears look to solidify their lineup and pitching rotation with a series against the Broncs. UMaine has won two of its last three and has suffered nine of its losses to teams with a combined 56-14 record. Maine currently has played the sixth most difficult schedule in Division I, according to ESPN.com. The Bears encounter a senior-laden Rider ballclub being called its most experienced in program history. The Broncs were picked to repeat as Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference champs after reaching the NCAA Regionals in 2010. The Bears, who are batting .368 against lefties, are expected to face three in the series. UMaine is 0-10 when scoring fewer than five runs.
