WARREN, Maine — A prisoner was found dead in his cell Tuesday morning at the Bolduc Correctional Facility , but details about how he died were not immediately available.

Ryan Allan Calor, 29, of Northfield was found dead during a morning count of prisoners at the Warren minimum security prison, according to Denise Lord, associate commissioner of the Maine Department of Corrections.

Calor was incarcerated recently at the prison and was serving a  three-year sentence for burglary, Lord said in an e-mailed statement issued at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. He was expected to be released February 2014, she said.

The state police are investigating the matter and the Maine medical examiner is expected to do an autopsy “very soon,” Lord said. The prisoner’s next of kin also were notified.
