BREWER – Jacqueline D. Medeiros, 78, died Feb. 21, 2011, at a local hospital, and joins her beloved son, Matthew, in the arms of the Lord. She was born July 15, 1932, in Houlton, the daughter of Clayton J. and Reona T. (Drake) Riley.

Jacqueline graduated from Houlton High School. Jacqueline was a very strong Christian, loving the Lord and she enjoyed sharing her faith with others. She was a loving mother and very generous with her help for family and friends. Jacqueline enjoyed reading, writing and big band music, especially the song "Misty."

Jacqueline made her home in Maine, but she was a real New York girl at heart.

Jacqueline is survived by her sons, John Medeiros of Bangor and Mark Medeiros and his wife, Jennifer, of Texas. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Matthew Medeiros.
