Despite snowstorm, fans support teams in ‘C’ semis

While a snowstorm dumped eight to 10 inches of snow in the Greater Bangor area Friday, some hardy fans of high school basketball still turned out to attend two Eastern Maine Class C semifinal girls games at the Bangor Auditorium.

Fans showed their support while the Washington Academy Raiders of East Machias and the Orono Red Riots captured victories to set up a Monday afternoon regional final back at the Auditorium.
