Purse Bingo event in Lincoln to benefit Komen 3-day walk

LINCOLN, Maine — A Purse Bingo event to benefit the Komen 3-day, 60-mile walk to fight breast cancer begins with doors opening at 3 p.m. for shopping with vendors, and bingo beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday in the cafeteria of Mattanawcook Academy in Lincoln.

Food and drinks will be available.

The event is hosted by the group Simply the BrEaST Friends, with assistance from the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce.

Advance tickets, at $20, are available at High Performance Hair, the Lincoln Maine Federal Credit Union or Transitions Salon, all in Lincoln, or by calling 290-4784.

Admission at the door, if the event is not sold out, will be $25.
