Josh Jones (Husson University senior from Jefferson), men’s basketball, had two double-doubles. Jones posted 21 points and 11 rebounds against UM-Farmington and had 32 points with 14 rebounds vs. Thomas.

Franklin Salvador (Thomas College freshman), men’s basketball rookie, had 16 points and was 4-for-8 from 3-point range vs. Maine Maritime. He also scored 18 points and made four threes against Husson.

Women’s Hockey East

Jennie Gallo (University of Maine senior), women’s hockey, scored the game-winning goal in overtime against Boston College Saturday, sending the Black Bears into the playoffs.

Hillary Hall (University of Southern Maine senior from Waldoboro), women’s indoor field, placed in a three-way tie for second in the high jump by clearing 5 feet, 2¼ inches to help the Huskies finish 15th at the New England Division III Championships.
