MILFORD, Maine — State drug agents on Wednesday arrested three people on drug charges and seized more than 1,200 prescription drugs, mostly painkillers, after a sting operation that culminated in a raid at a Main Street mobile home.

Arrested by officials from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency were:

After their arrests, all three were taken to Penobscot County Jail in Bangor. Dunton and Gilks were released on bail Thursday, a jail official confirmed.

Seymour remained behind bars late Thursday night, unable to make his $500 bail. He is scheduled to make an initial court appearance at the Penobscot Judicial Center on Friday.

The arrests followed the execution of an MDEA search warrant at Dunton’s residence at a mobile home in Sunset Trailer Park, Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, said in a news release issued Thursday.

McCausland said that the trio had been under investigation for the past month and that undercover drug agents purchased prescription pills from Dunton and Gilks on multiple occasions.

Seized during Wednesday’s raid were 1,239 prescription pills, most of them oxycodone or hydrocodone, as well as $6,859 in cash and a pistol.

McCausland said that the MDEA was assisted by officers from the Old Town Police Department, deputies from the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office and the Maine State Police.
