DEDHAM, Maine — Agents with the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested four people Saturday in Hancock County and seized more than 1½ pounds of cocaine and $10,795 in cash.

Arrested and charged with trafficking in cocaine were Michael C. Vilasuso, 29, of Dedham; Maureen Leeman, 49, of Otter Creek; Thaddeus H. Jozefowicz, 29, of Bangor; and Stephanie A. Martin, 45, of Clifton.

The 1.56 pounds of cocaine was believed to have come from Massachusetts, agents said.

The majority of the drugs and money was found in Vilasuso’s house in Dedham at 57 Mill Road, where he was arrested. The three others were arrested in their vehicles after being stopped by drug agents and Maine State Police. The arrests took place Saturday afternoon and evening.

Drug agents have been investigating suspected cocaine trafficking by some of the four for several months.

Vilasuso was taken to the Ellsworth Police Department and the three others were taken to the Hancock County Jail. All were released after posting bail.
