CAMDEN, Maine — Saturday, Jan. 29, kicks off the ninth annual Winterfest. The free festival will showcase ice sculptures and an ice rink for the public.
The festival runs from noon to 3 p.m.
Winterfest kicks off the opening of a new ice rink in town that will be near the library. People should bring their own skates. The rink will be around all winter and is free to skaters, according to Camden’s website.
Just up the hill from the rink the band All That Jazz will play.
Children who need a break from ice skating can head into the library to do crafts and listen to stories.
