Waterville’s Frame transfers to UNH

DURHAM, N.H. — Former Miss Maine Basketball Morgan Frame of Waterville will join the women’s basketball program at the University of New Hampshire next winter after transferring from Division II Saint Anselm College.

Frame will sit out the rest of this season and the first semester of next season before beginning play with the Wildcats as a sophomore during the second semester of the 2011-12 season.

Last season Frame played in 20 games as a freshman at Saint Anselm, including three starts, and she averaged 6.1 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. She shot 46.3 percent from the field while leading the team in scoring twice and in rebounding three times.

Frame led Waterville to three consecutive Class B state championships during her high school career, and was a first-team All-Maine selection of the Bangor Daily News before graduating in 2009.
