BRENTWOOD, N.H. — A Maine woman has been sentenced to more than two years in prison for burglarizing a New Hampshire police officer’s house and other crimes in a two-day spree with her boyfriend that police say included a carjacking.
Thirty-eight-year-old Rebecca Paulhus of Kennebunk, Maine, has pleaded guilty to burglary and possession of a controlled drug.
Police say Paulhus and 33-year-old Adam Pento of Saco, Maine, broke into the North Hampton police officer’s house on Feb. 5 and stole items including two handguns.
The Portsmouth Herald says the two then stopped a car and Pento pulled a gun on the owner, ordering him to drive them away. The driver was later released unharmed.
Pento has been sentenced to 11 years in prison.
