Maine and NH police seek suspect in pharmacy robberies

The Associated Press

SANFORD, Maine — Police in Maine and New Hampshire say the same suspect may be responsible for pharmacy robberies in the two states.

Sanford Police Sgt. Jason Wagner says his department is working with counterparts in Rochester, N.H., to determine if the Sunday robberies were committed by the same man.

Sanford police say the robbery there took place there at about 12:45 p.m. Sunday at a Main Street Rite Aid. The Rochester robbery occurred earlier in the day at the South Main Street Walgreens.

The Portland Press Herald said that in Sanford, the suspect left with an undisclosed number of pills.

No injuries were reported.
